BASED ON THE INFORMATION REC'D FROM THOSE PRESENT IT APPEARS THAT THE IGNITION WAS CAUSED WHEN THE SPARKS FROM THE CUTTING MACHINE IGNITED AN UNKNOWN BLEEDER WHILE CUTTING COAL/ROCK AT #51 SHI ELD. MSHA NOTIFIED, INVESTIGATION CONDUCTED.
