ON 8-23-02, THE EE WAS PERFORMING DUTIES AS A COAL DRILL OPERATOR. WHILE MOVING THE DRILL FROM ONE HOLE TO THE NEXT, HE TURNED HIS HEAD TO BE ABLE TO SEE THE REAR OF THE DRILL. AT THAT TIME HE FELT A POP IN HIS NECK. HE WAS EXAMINED BY A PHYSCIAN ON 8-28, AND PHYSICAL THERAPY WAS PRESCRIBED. HE REPORTED THE ACCIDENT TO THE CO ON 8-29-02.
