THE EE WAS WELDING IN THE TUB OF THE MARION 8050 #124 DRAGLINE AND WAS CHIPPING THE SLAG OFF OF THE WELD. A PIECE OF WELDING SLAG FLEW OFF AND OVER THE TOP OF HIS SAFETY GLASSES AND LANDED IN HIS LEFT EYE. HE WAS TAKEN TO THE CLINIC, WHERE THE SLAGE WAS REMOVED AND HE WAS RELEASED TO RETURN TO WORK WITH NO RESTRICTIONS. NO TIME LOST.
