Narrative

INJURED WAS REPAIRING A CRACK IN THE FRAME OF THE DUCLID HAUL TRUCK. THE CRACK WAS ON THE BOTTOM OF THE FRAME. INJURED WAS WEARING ALL WELDING PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT. HIS HEAD WAS COCKED TO THE SIDE WHEN WELDING SPLATTER ENTERED THE EAR CANAL AND DAMAGED THE EAR DRUM. INJURED WENT TO SEE A DOCTOR ON 11-11-02, RETURNED TO WORK 11-11-02.
