THE EMPLOYEE WAS ASSISTING WITH INSTALLATION OF A NEW SCREEN. HE WAS HOLDING A PIECE OF RUBBER TO CUT IN HIS LEFT HAND AND THE KNIFE WENT THROUGH THE RUBBER AND CUT HIS LEFT THUMB, RESULTING I N STITCHES.
