A METHANE IGNITION OCCURRED WHILE CUTTING THE MINE FLOOR IN THE #8 FACE ON MAIN NORTH. IT WAS EXTINGUISHED BY THE CONTINUOUS MINER WATER SPRAYS AND LASTED APPROXIMATELY 2 SECONDS. THERE WERE N O INJURIES OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
