EE WAS WASHING DOWN ON #1 WASHING WITH A 1-1/2 HOSE & NOZZLE. DURING THE TASK, EE STEPPED IN A BOOT VALVE AND WAS IN LIQUID UP TO HIS NECK. EE WAS ASSISTED TO THE EYEWASH BY CO-WORKERS & HIS E YES WERE WASHED. HE WAS FURTHER WASHED AT THE EYEWASH & SAFETY SHOWER ON TOP OF #1 BEFORE TRANSPORT TO MEDICAL. RECEIVED ABRASION TO RIGHT EYE. WAS RESTRICTED TO INDOOR WORK ON 7/31 & 8/1/03.
