The employee was moving a jackleg drill backwards when he experienced low back pain that was diagnosed as a sprain. The employee returned to work on his next scheduled shift on 9/26/03. On 9/27/03 he requested another medical appointment for continuing back pain. The employee is off work awaiting diagnostic evaluation (MRI).
