BASED ON THE INFORMATION RECEIVED FROM THOSE PRESENT IT APPEARS THAT THE IGNITION WAS CAUSED WHEN THE SPARK FROM THE CUTTING MACHINE (SHEARER) IGNITED AN UNKNOWN METHANE BLEEDER WHILE CUTTING HARD ROCK (MIDDLE MAN) & COAL AT SHIELD. MSHA NOTIFIED.
