Narrative

AN UNKNOWN 11"" DIA. BORE HOLE WAS MINED OVER IN THE WEST DIVOT PIT. THE BORE HOLE WAS NOT LOCATED ON ANY MAPS, WAS FILLED WITH WATER, AND WAS LIBERATINE METHANE GAS. THE GAS WAS IGNITED BY THR OWING A RAG THAT WAS LIT ON IT. A SMALL FLAME (FOOT HIGH) VERY WEAK BURNED ON TOP OF THE HOLE. WIND WOULD BLOW IT OUT. THE HOLE WAS MARKED AND LATER PLUGGED WITH CONCRETE.
