Narrative

THE EMPLOYEE WAS WORKING WITH A VISE ON D-36 DRAGLINE WHEN HE MASHED HIS RIGHT INDEX FINGER WITH THE VISE HANDLE. HE DID NOT REPORT THE INJURY UNTIL 1/20 DURING HIS DAYS OFF. HE WAS EXAMINED & TREATED FOR AN INFECTION UNDER THE FINGERNAIL DUE TO THE INJURY. NO RESTRICTIVE DUTY WAS ASSIGNED. HE RETURNED TO WORK ON NEXT SCHEDULED SHIFT.
