EE WAS ASSIGNED DUTIES AS A WELDER, ON AN 80 CUB YARD DRAGLINE BUCKET. EE WAS USING A CUTTING TORCH TO CUT A STEEL PLATE TO REPAIR THE BUCKET. THE EE WAS ATTEMPTING TO BRUSH DIRT OFF OF THE BU RNING TORCH TIP WITH HIS GLOVES HAND, AND THE TORCH FLAME PENETRATED A HOLE IN HIS WELDING GLOVE AND CONTACTED HIS FINGER IN THE GLOVE.
