## Narrative

The employee was using a sledge hammer to dislodge jammed rock located in the jaw feeder's chute.  He was hitting the outside of the chute with the sledge hammer when his knuckle struck (caught between) the chute causing a small gash on his right index finger that required stitches to close the wound.
