AN ELECTRICIAN WAS CUTTING THE FACE CONVEYOR CHAIN WITH AN ACETYLENE-OXYGEN TORCH, AN IGNITION OF METHANE OCCURRED WITHIN THE CLOSED AREA OF THE CONVEYOR PANS. IGNITION STARTED AT AN INSPECTIO N DOOR COVER THAT WAS FOULED BY THE FACE CONVEYOR CHAIN. THERE WERE NO INJURIED.
