## Narrative

Burr on drill rig pull down cable caught glove and pulled left index finger into sheave. Finger tip was lacerated. Subsequent investigation indicated that employee should not have placed hand near pinchpoint and also should have been watching drill steel advance. Additional guarding is not possible in this location.
