## Narrative

The ee was operating a cat truck excavator doing clean-up work in the coal pit. When a soocer ball sized rock came off the highwall and broke through the cab window. Broken glass or a fragment from the broken rock caused a 2"" laceration on the right side of the ee's head. He was transported to the hospital ER where 7 staples were required to close the wound.
