Narrative

While drilling a test hole in the last open xcut the operator bent a drill steel & pinched his right index finger between the drill steel & the drill mast. Transported to Memorial Hospital in Springfield IL, diagnosed with fracture & laceration, treated with suturing and splint. Lost time accident.
