EMPLOYEE WAS STANDING ON THE 2ND RUNG OF A LADDER TO REMOVE THE I-BEAM SUPPORT OF A DOVETAIL (TRUCK BED). DURING THE LAST CUT THE I-BEAM STRAP PEELED AWAY, KNOCKING HIM OFF THE LADDER. WHEN FALLING, HE ATTEMPTED TO BREAK THE FALL BY PLACING HIS LEFT HAND DOWN & BROKE 2 BONES IN HIS WRIST.
