He cut out the flange on the tooth, took a 10lb. sledge hammer and struck the top back edge of the tooth to knock it off of the shank. As he did a piece mesuring 1.5 cm X .8 cm entered his upper leg. He was taken to Gibson General E.R. were it was surgically removed. It took 6 stitches to close the incision. He was released to return to work on his next scheduled shift.
