Narrative

Injured was removing drain plug from CAT Shovel. Plug broke loose. Thumb got wedged between ratchet and rack guard. The injury was treated as f.a.c. On 08-16-04 Injured was seen by Dr. Burkholder because of infection. His thumb was lanced above the thumbnail to remove the infection. On 08-18-04 Injured was seen by Dr. Burkholder and was r.t.w.with no restrictions.
