## Narrative

He stated that he was attempting to take down the roof bolter cable that was hung on the mine roof by nylon rope hangers. After not being able to get one of the hangers loose, he took a utility belt knife and cut the rope hanger down. In doing so, the knife struck his left forearm, requiring 4 stitches. This occurred on the 005-0 section.
