EMPLOYEE STATED THAT HE WAS WALKING TO TIMBER JOB AT 3-SOUTH OVERCAST. HE WENT THROUGH TWO MANDOORS & WHEN HE RAISED UP HE STRUCK HIS LEFT EAR ON A ROOF BOLT PLATE. THIS RESULTED IN A LACERATION TO HIS LEFT EAR. (EE RECEIVED 8 SUTURES, DIDN'T LOOSE ANY TIME).
