## Narrative

While using a cutting torch, employee's pants did not cover top of boot, and as a result some slag fell between the sock and inside boot.  Initially the incident was a first aid case.  On or about September 18, 2004 employee returned to doctor for a follow up visit and the doctor decided to treat the wound to prevent infection.
