## Narrative

The employee was reaching down to put a nut in between flanges to hold them apart, and hot slurry came spraying out, hitting him in the left shoulder, back, neck and buttocks.  He was transported to the ER for evaluation and treatment.  The burns were debrided and the employee was released to restriced duty.
