EE WAS POUNDING A PIN IN PLACE ON THE DRILL.  HE WAS USING A SLEDGE HAMMER TO DO THIS.  HE HIT HIS MIDDLE FINGER ON HIS RIGHT HAND WITH THE SLEDGE HAMMER, SMASHING THE END OF HIS FINGER.
