Narrative

Employee was tramming a battery scoop on the #2 unit and he had his left hand through the hand hold, on the canopy, that is used to assist someone getting in and out of the scoop. When he turned toward a cross-cut his hand became caught between the mine roof and the top of the scoop canopy resulting in lacerations to his index and middle finger. He received a total of 7 sutures.
