## Narrative

Employee was rock bolting using a jacklet. During the course of the day, he noticed pain in his stomach that continued to worsen. He had been diagnosed in August of 2004 with a hernia but felt that it was not work-related. He had postponed corrective surgery until after the first of the year. He had surgery 2/1/05 and is off work.
