A roof fall measuring 30' long, 20' wide, 6' thick was discovered in the return near EP-H spad 49101. The fall was 4,600' from the active section and occurred due coal and rock streaks above the 5' torque tension roof bolts. Ventilation and the passage of men was not affected. The fall entrances were barricaded to prevent travel.
