## Narrative

Injured was operating miner. He was mining on the off side after extending the ventilation rod 3 to 4 feet inby the last row of bolts. A slip measuring 9'x9' x1' fell on the curtain side, striking the ventilation rod, which in turn struck the injured in the back and the back of the right leg.
