## Narrative

A mechanic was removing an electric starting motor from a motor grader.  Using a 5/8 inch boxed end wrench, downward pressure was applied to the outermost bolt.  When the bolt broke loose, the mechanic?s hand hit the machine frame and lacerated the right middle finger at the middle knuckle.
