Employee was standing on an overcast ramp and when he turned to get out of the way of another co-worker he stepped through the opening in the plank. Cause of this injury was safety awareness. Compliance with rules/regs was not a factor, mining equip/systems was not a factor, miner proficiency a factor, protective equip was not a factor.
