Narrative

During kiln shutdown employee worked inside rotary cement kiln welding a patch in the shell and had to walk through clinker dust to get to his work area. The dust penetrated his work clothes and got on his skin, resulting in dry chemical burn to his left leg. He saw Dr. on 8/9/05 and was given cortizone injection.
