## Narrative

The NEMA baghouse had an unplanned ignition resulting from smoldering coal being sucked into the baghouse as the baghouse fan was turned on after a pro-longed outage. The ignition resulted in one of the explosion doors being blown open. The system was shut down, MSHA was notified and the hot spot was eliminated by the use of water.
