Narrative

Employee was leaning forward splitting a block of stone with a 4lb hammer and stone chisel. He sustained a contusion to his right eye when a stone fragment was projected under right lens of safety glasses striking his right lower eye lid. He did not report his injury until 8-23. He sent to local urgent care clinic for examination and treatment.
