EE was helping 2 co-workers install a canopy side plate ram assembly on a shield. The ram was positioned on a skid steer loader & secured with 2 comealongs. As ram was pushed forward, the spring on the ram caught on shield framework & came into tension. As 2nd comealong was released, tension on the ram caused it to rotate, pinching his finger between T-bar & skid steer frame.
