## Narrative

A sales and product support representative tripped as he was walking off a drill pattern.  He attempted to regain his balance by extending his leg to catch himself.  As he planted his foot, he heard and felt a loud pop as his hip dislocated.  Subsequent x-rays indicated dislocation and fractured hip.
