Narrative

Employee & crew were trying to relocate the scaffold being used when it came into contact with a large chain hanging from the roof of the tank (F7 Thickener Tank Overhaul). While maneuvering the scaffold, the chain fell and employee's (L) hand was caught between the chain and the scaffold handrail. Injury required stitches.
