While checking a water leak outside of a building the employee slipped on the ice, striking his left hand, hip and straining his elbow. The injury did not become recordable until he missed a day, November 18th. FMC was not notified that this absence was due to the injury until November 21. At this time the injury is just ""pain"" but tests are still being performed.
