## Narrative

Employee was attempting to clear a plugged sand line. He changed the line w/air and water, but it didn't clear. He unhooked air and bled off pressure. Hooked water back up a went to end of line to see if it was clearing the sand. There was some pressure in a void in the pipe that broke loose and made the pipe surge. The 4"" pipe struck him in the face.
