## Narrative

Employee was stripping a 3/0 XHHW wire, when the blade slipped off of the wire, allegedly cutting through a leather glove and cutting his left index finger above the knuckle.  The laceration required 5-sutures to close. Employee was wearing leather gloves instead of a cut-resistant material such as Kevlar (as required).
