## Narrative

Employee was hanging a length of 4"" pipe on the rib.  The pipe slipped and smashed the employee's fingers between the pipe and the safety rail on the lifting device.  The pipe was wet and slippery.  The tips of three fingers were caught.  The employee was wearing gloves.  The accident resulted in bones in two fingers being cracked.
