EE was roof bolting in the face of #3 entry. He was drilling a hole for the roof bolt closest to the rib in order to install a six foot bolt. He had just inserted his second drill steel in the drill pot. As he started his rotation a rock measuring 22""x7""x2"" thick fell from the mine roof (a height of 91"") and struck his left forearm requiring 8 stitches to repair.
