EE reported: After completion of drilling hole the required depth, he was attempting to remove drill steel. Steel hung in drilled hole. He was pulling on steel and experienced a sharp pain in lower back region. Pain and discomfort continued, he received medical treatment on 1/26/06. Started missing work on 2-1-06. The event became a lost time injury on this date.
