THE MAN MATERIAL SHAFT IS THE PRIMARY ESCAPEWAY FOR THE GATEWAY MINE.THE EE'S WERE CALLED OUT OF THE MINE AND MINE WAS IDLED UNTIL MECHINICAL CONDITION WAS CORRECTED. THE HOIST WAS UNOPERABLE FROM 7:10AM UNTIL 8:30PM
