## Narrative

EE reported: Attempting to cut piece of conveyor belt. The belt was laying on the mine floor, he was kneeling adjacent to the belt using a belt knife cutting the belt toward his legs. The knife slipped from the belt, came up suddenly and contacted his right knee resulting in a small laceration. Required 3 staples to close the wound.
