Narrative

Employee was using the overhead crane to move a 6""x7' long steel shaft. The shaft had a groove cut in each end for a keeper ring and also had two steel bushing on the shaft. When he lifted the shaft, a bushing on one end slid off of the shaft striking his finger cutting off 1/2'' of the tip of left middle finger.
