## Narrative

Employee was assisting his fellow roof bolter opertaor in hanging the roof bolter cable from the mine roof using insulated tie wire. When he turned his head to move, the excess end of the wire struck his right ear and actually went down into his ear. This resulted in a possible puncture to his ear drum.
