Employee claimed to have hurt his back while lifting a 5x7 timber to build a 9-point crib. Cause of this injury was unsafe lifting habits. Compliance with rules/regs was not a factor, protective equipment (back support) was not being worn, miner attitude could be a factor, mining equip/systems was not a factor.
