## Narrative

While backing up continious miner was cutting  floor. Sparks from bits ignited methane on floor. Power was shut down and miner operator exited miner. Fire extinguisher from shuttle car (SC31) was used to extinguish flames. Flames were burning for approx. 2 minutes.
