Roof bolter was reaching across machine to untie wire that was holding roof bolts together when a piece of roof coal fell striking his arm. Cause of this injury was safety awareness. Compliance with rules/regs was not a factor, protective equip was not a factor, miner knowlege was a factor, mining equip/systems not a factor.
